Camera shelf

• Your cameras on a shelf — The flat camera profiles list becomes a shelf you can arrange, with each body standing in its own slot.
• Camera stickers — Photograph a camera and the app cuts it out as a sticker for the shelf. The cutout happens entirely on device, and the same sticker appears in the Framelines camera tray.
• Tone controls — Exposure, contrast, and saturation sliders to get a sticker looking right.
• Style it — Eight shelf materials, eight backdrops, and eight name plates, plus a custom board color and an adjustable shelf depth. The picker is full screen and shows your own cameras as you change things.
• Arrange mode — Pick a camera up and put it down in another slot. Cameras per shelf, row spacing, double-wide bodies, and pinned placement are all yours to set.
• Separate visibility — A camera can be hidden from the shelf independently of the Framelines tray.
• List view kept — The old list is still there as a mode, which is where reordering lives.

Light meter

• Per-lens apertures — A 50mm f/1.4 and a 400mm f/5.6 no longer share one range. Any lens can carry its own, set from Light Meter › Aperture › Per Lens, and the camera profile's range stays as the default.
• Follows the focal length — The meter and the capture preview track the lens you are shooting, so changing focal length brings the right aperture range with it.

Photo Log

• Photos remember where they were taken — Every capture records its location, and photos added from your library keep the one already in the file.
• Turn a photo into a spot — A frame shot away from any saved spot offers to create one right where you took it.
• Photos in their own shape — Previews follow the photo's aspect ratio instead of cropping a band out of the middle of every portrait frame.

Onboarding

• Rebuilt from scratch — A screen per step, with real screenshots and recordings of the app, and permission prompts asked where they make sense.

Map

• Nothing between you and the imagery — The map header is gone in normal use. Settings is reachable from Lists and Photo Log.
• Offline banner — Losing the connection now shows its own banner.

Refinements

• The gradient editor's tray is about half its old height and no longer resizes when you switch tabs, so what you are editing stays visible.

Film rolls

• Film stock catalog — 35 common stocks. Picking one fills in box speed for you, and a Custom… row keeps the free-text option for anything not on the list.
• Recent stocks — Stocks you have shot lately appear as one-tap chips.
• Suggested roll names — Names are auto-suggested from the stock and date, so saving is no longer blocked on an empty name field.
• Box speed picker — Box speed now uses the third-stop ISO scale, the same one the light meter uses, instead of a number field that could silently swallow bad input.
• Push and pull — Now resolves to an actual exposure index. The editor states the speed to meter at, and the roll detail line leads with it.
• Start Another Like This — Duplicate a roll's settings into a new roll.
• Unified appearance controls — The emoji button and the color swatch grid are now one section instead of two competing controls in the same sheet.
• Single camera profile — If you only have one camera profile, it is preselected.
• Consistent naming — Everything is called a Roll now, instead of mixing Project, Roll, and Film Roll on the same screens.

Custom developer recipes

• Save your own recipes — Record your processing routines directly from the roll editor.
• Matched to the film — Recipes are tagged with a film process and only offered on matching rolls, so a color roll is never offered a black-and-white developer.
• Recipe management — A dedicated sheet for editing and organizing your saved recipes.

Map pin multi-select

• Select many pins at once — Long-press a pin to enter selection mode, then tap pins or clusters to build a selection.
• Bulk action rail — A floating bar to add to a list, share a link, share GPX, archive, set status, set priority, tag, or delete.
• Same actions everywhere — Bulk edits behave identically whether you start from the map or from a list.

Photo Log

• Completed rolls by stage — Split into one section per lifecycle stage instead of a single lumped section.
• Per-camera visibility — Hide a camera profile from the Framelines camera tray without deleting it.
• Accurate frame counts — Counts no longer include deleted photos.

Interface consistency

• The selection hint banner and bulk action rail are now shared between the map and lists, at the same size in both.
• Priority level 1 rendered yellow on map pins but amber in list rows. It is one color everywhere now.
• The map pin context menu paired target-state titles with current-state icons. Both now describe the state you are switching to.
• Done checkmarks in the toolbar are the same blue on every screen.
• Spot priority labels no longer show both "Medium" and "Med" on different screens.
• Empty state and No Results views are consolidated, and menu icon styling is unified.

Bug fixes

• Metering a pushed roll — Selecting a roll in Framelines synced the meter to the roll's box speed, so a roll pushed a stop metered a full stop slow. It now uses the exposure index.
• Rolls disappearing — Advancing a roll to Captured archived it as a side effect, removing it from the log.
• Reorder corruption — Dragging spots while the solar bookmarks filter was active renumbered only the visible ones and scrambled the rest.
• Status label spacing — Film roll status labels had a stray leading space, leaving a visible gap after the icon.
• List search — The query is now trimmed, so a whitespace-only string counts as not searching.

Performance

• Smoother map — The pin selection effect now runs only while a pin is actually selected, instead of driving a constant redraw on every pin on screen.
• Faster lists overview — Far less repeated work while drawing, so large libraries scroll smoothly.

• Spot library — Drop a pin in seconds, then add notes, photos, tags, priority, and scouted or photographed status.
• Lists — Group spots by trip, project, subject, or neighborhood with colors and emojis, and share a list with a link.
• Interactive map — Browse your whole library at a glance and filter by any attribute in map or list view.
• Solar compass — Sunrise, sunset, golden hour, and blue hour for any spot, with an interactive sun path and an AR preview.
• Weather — Check conditions for a spot before you make the drive.
• Framelines camera — Preview real-world framing for your gear, simulate focal lengths and aspect ratios, and capture reference shots with full metadata.
• Light meter — Meter a scene right from the app.
• Widgets — Save a spot from the home screen without opening the app, and see your spots at a glance.
• Siri & Shortcuts — Save and open spots by voice or from your own automations.
• iCloud sync — Private sync through your own iCloud account with CloudKit.
• Import & export — CSV and GPX in and out, so your library stays yours.
• Offline ready — Full functionality without a connection, with Apple Maps offline map support.
